Information Regarding 2020 TAP Summer camps and Covid-19

Disinfecting and Sanitizing

We will be disinfecting TAP Studios with CDC approved cleaners diligently and frequently each day.  Children will be given hand-washing breaks every 45 minutes while at TAP, and we will have hand sanitizer available in each room.  When the children arrive to camp each morning, they will have their temperature taken outside before they enter the building, using a forehead thermometer.  Children with temperatures over 99.4 will be asked to leave.

Camp Numbers

We are capping each camp at 10 children and 2 staff members, as we can safely separate 12 people in the studio.

Social Distancing

Spots will be marked on the floor where children can sit/stand during activities, and chairs will be spaced appropriately to ensure that children are safely distancing from each other during lessons.  Staff members will be required to wears masks while at camp, and children will be strongly encouraged to do so as well.  We can provide masks if necessary.  Props for games and activities will not be shared, and any pencils/clipboards/crayons used by the children will be theirs to keep so as to ensure no one else is touching them.   To prevent the spread of the virus while eating lunch and snacks, all food will be eaten outside on the front lawn.
