Our NEW Homeschool Program will include TWO different theatre classes. The first is IMPROV 101, where students will learn the foundational skills of Improvisation through games and exercises. Improv is an important skill for all actors that builds self-confidence and comfort speaking in front of others. The second class is THE ORIGINS OF THEATRE, where students will learn about theatre history, going all the way back to Ancient Greece, through hands on games and activities! Students may register for one or both classes.

6-Week Preschool Classes!
Join us for Preschool Classes this fall!
We are so excited to be offering TWO classes for preschoolers, ages 2- 4 years old, at TAP this fall. Taught by Mr Dylan, the "Once Upon a Stage" Acting Class teaches introductory acting skills through storybook theatre. Mr. Dylan brings a wealth of knowledge to working with preschool-aged children, having spent many years creating curriculum for preschool drama classes in the Triangle, performing Theatre For Young Audiences, and teaching preschool acting and music/movement classes. Similarly, "Move & Groove", taught by Ms Michelle and Ms Melissa who bring many years of experience in early childhood education in schools and youth theatre companies, will introduce the youngest children to foundational music and dance technique. For both classes, children must be accompanied by an adult who may choose to watch or to participate in the class! Children may register for one or both class sessions.

SPirit Week at TAP!
All TAP STudents - Be part of SPIRIT WEEK!
For classes and rehearsals this week, students are invited to dress up based on the theme for the day! And all week long for classes (not rehearsals), bring a friend to class to join in on the fun and see what TAP is all about! We also have several Spirit Nights planned where a percentage of the money earned will be given to TAP. See below. We hope you can join us!

Trunk or Treat at TAP!
Join us for TRUNK OR TREAT!
We are SO EXCITED about our first-ever TAP Trunk or Treat! On Saturday, October 24 from 6-8pm, stop by TAP for trick-or-treating, carnival and theatre games, facepainting, a themed basket raffle, and more! All TAP families, as well as anyone in the community, may attend. So bring your friends! This is a great opportunity for children interested in trying theatre, as staff and TAs will be leading theatre games in the studio during the event! Individuals may register ($5) to attend as a trick-or-treater, or families may register to decorate their car and hand out candy (free). Children under 12 years old must attend with an adult.

*NEW* Improv Essentials Acting Class!
New and returning IMprov Actors...
Join us for IMPROV ESSENTIALS! This class is intended for all actors ages 8 - 13 who are looking to learn or continue developing their improvisation and comedy skills. The class will place an emphasis on short form improv (taught through individual, partner, and group games), which helps to develop a comfort and confidence onstage. Taught by Improv Coach, Ms. Melissa, this is a fun class that will benefit all actors!
