Teens! Audition THIS SPRING for "The Yellow Boat!"
Announcing our 2026 Summer Actor Intensive for Teens!
Each summer, students ages 12 - rising college freshmen have the opportunity to audition to be part of our TAP Actor Intensive. TAP Director, Mr. Jamie Gorski, directs the production, which focuses on challenging oneself as an actor in a collaborative ensemble piece. This year's show, The Yellow Boat, weaves creativity and beauty into an emotional tapestry that results in one of the most produced shows of the last decade. We are honored to bring it to TAP.
NEW! Audition videos are due by mid-May! Or email for an in-person audition date. Callbacks will be announced when auditions have been closed.
Rehearsals are June 29 - July 2 from 5-8pm at TAP, July 6 - 9 from 5-8pm at TAP, and July 13 - 17 from 1-8pm at PEACE.
Performances are July 18 and 19 at Peace University's Legget Theatre in Raleigh, NC.

Announcing our 2026-2027 Teen Musical...PIPPIN!
With an unforgettable score from musical theatre icon, Stephen Schwartz, Pippin is the story of one young man's journey to be extraordinary. Winner of four 2013 Tony Awards including Best Musical Revival, this circus-inspired version of Pippin continues to captivate audiences throughout the world.
As son of King Charlemagne the Great, the young prince Pippin is in search of the secret to true happiness and fulfillment. He seeks it in the glories of the battlefield, the temptations of love, and the intrigues of political power. In the end though, Pippin finds that happiness lies not in extraordinary endeavors, but rather in the unextraordinary moments that happen every day.
PIPPIN is part of our teen audition-only program for actors ages 12-18. Auditions will be held this summer. Rehearsals begin August 17 (every Monday and Wednesday evening) and performances are January 13 - 16. Students must be 12 years old by August 1, 2026 to audition.
