Coming Up AT TAP in Fall 2026!
Announcing our 2026-2027 Teen Musical...PIPPIN!
Accepting audition submissions through July 5!!
With an unforgettable score from musical theatre icon, Stephen Schwartz, Pippin is the story of one young man's journey to be extraordinary. Winner of four 2013 Tony Awards including Best Musical Revival, this circus-inspired version of Pippin continues to captivate audiences throughout the world.
As son of King Charlemagne the Great, the young prince Pippin is in search of the secret to true happiness and fulfillment. He seeks it in the glories of the battlefield, the temptations of love, and the intrigues of political power. In the end though, Pippin finds that happiness lies not in extraordinary endeavors, but rather in the unextraordinary moments that happen every day.
PIPPIN is part of our teen audition-only program for actors ages 12-18. Auditions will be held this summer. Rehearsals begin August 17 (every Monday and Wednesday evening) and performances are January 13 - 16. Students must be 12 years old by August 1, 2026 to audition. Prior to auditioning, actors and their families should read the TAP Absence Policy, found HERE, as well as the Student Actor Contract, found HERE.
NEW! Audition-Only Musical Revue for Grades 5-9!
To further develop our current audition-only program for teens, we are expanding to younger children...and couldn't be more excited! Students in grades 5-9 with prior musical theatre experience can audition this summer to be part of "Raise Your Voice: Musical Revue," a collection of over a dozen songs from the Broadway canon and beloved Disney musicals. Taught by Ms. Melissa Dunn and Ms. Michelle Giannini, the goal is to challenge our younger musical theatre performers with new and more challenging music and dance skills, as well as 1:1 work to develop them as individual performers.
Rehearsals begin August 25 and take place every Tuesday and Thursday from 4:30 - 6:30pm through the performances at Burning Coal Theatre the weekend of November 12.
Auditions will take place July 25 at the studio, with Callbacks July 26.

Fall 2026 PerforMance Session Play...A Wrinkle in Time!
Currently accepting students for the Waitlist!
Our Fall Performance Session Play for students in grades 4-9 is the intriguing play based on the science fantasy novel by Madeleine L'Engle, A WRINKLE IN TIME. 20 actors will be accepted into the session, which registers on June 27 at 10am online (HERE).
Rehearsals take place Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:30 - 6:30pm, with performances the weekend of November 12 at Burning Coal Theatre. All session details can be found at the link below!
