Open to students in grades 3-5. In our semester-long Elementary Grades Acting Class, children in grades 3-5 will explore elements of performance through acting games and activities that will develop their self-confidence, comfort level speaking in front of others, problem solving skills, ability to work well with others, creativity, and so much more! This is an ideal “intro to acting” for elementary
children with little or no experience. This semester will emphasize creative drama.
Cost is $420/child.
Thursdays, 4:30-6pm.
Open to students in grades 3-6. In this “One-Act Play” class, the students will audition, rehearse, and perform the play adaptation of the beloved classic, The Rainbow Fish! Through auditions and rehearsals, students will learn and develop skills that are important for acting in plays, and will be encouraged to challenge themselves to try new things as they explore acting skills through performance. This class is ideal for students who want to be part of a production but cannot commit to longer hours, as well as any student who wants to be part of a play in a smaller setting than a full
Performance Session. Students will receive 1:1 attention from their teachers throughout the
semester to hone their skills and develop them individually as actors.

Open to students in grades 3-6. Our semester-long Series Musical Theatre classes are aimed at developing children’s musical theatre skills, specifically singing and dancing. Series 1-A is for young students with little or no musical theatre experience. Over the course of the semester, the children will learn musical theatre music and vocal technique and choreography/dance skills from
a professional choreographer and vocal coach. This is a quick-paced class that is ideal for younger children who have a love of musical theatre and desire to foster that to develop their own skills! No previous experience necessary. Children typically take several semesters of 1-A before being moved up to 1-B by their teachers.
Cost is $460/child.

Open to students in grades 4-7. Our semester-long Series Musical Theatre classes are aimed at developing children’s musical theatre skills, specifically singing and dancing. Series 1-B is our advanced-beginner musical theatre class for young children who have demonstrated a mastery of the skills learned in Series 1-A and are ready to move to a new level. To be in this class, the child must be approved by our staff. Over the course of the semester, the Series 1-B children will invest time and practice learning vocal technique for the stage, and musical theatre choreography and dance skills. This intensive is for children who are passionate about developing their musical theatre skills by challenging themselves as performers. Open to students in grades 4-8. The “Blue Team” improvisation team focuses on developing foundational improv skills, with particular focus on partner scene work and character development through short form improv games. The team works on skill-development through weekly practices that build toward improv shows, open to all TAP friends and families, held multiple times throughout the semester at the studio. We have two teams, the Blue (focused on Short Form Improv) and the Gold (focused on Sketch Comedy). Students do NOT need to audition to be on the Blue Team.
Cost is $560/child.
Thursdays, 6-7:30pm.
Open to students in grades 7-12. In this “One-Act Play” class, the students will audition, rehearse, and perform the comedic one-act play, How to Succeed in High School Without Really Trying! Through auditions and rehearsals students will learn and develop performance skills, and will be encouraged to challenge themselves outside their comfort zones as they explore comedic acting. This class is ideal for students who want to be part of a production but cannot commit to longer hours, as well as any student who wants to be part of a play in a smaller setting to receive more individualized attention to help hone their skills. Classes include rehearsal time, in addition to lessons surrounding specific acting technique.

Open to students in grades 5-12 with a teacher's recommendation. Our semester-long Series Musical Theatre classes are aimed at developing children’s
musical theatre skills, specifically singing and dancing. Series 2 is our intermediate-advanced musical theatre class for students who already have experience in musical theatre performance. To be in this class, your child must be approved by our staff. Over the course of the semester, the Series 2 students will invest time and practice learning vocal technique for the stage, and musical theatre choreography and dance skills. This intensive is for students who are passionate about developing their musical theatre skills by challenging themselves as performers. Tuesdays, 4:30-6:30pm.
Open to students in grades 4-12 with an audition. The “Gold Team” improvisation team focuses on story development in improv and comedy, while honing their team work skills. They learn sketch comedy skills in addition to short and long form. Previous experience in improvisation and/or comedy is necessary, and an audition is required to be considered for the team. Tuesdays, 6:30-7:30pm
Open to students in grades 7-12. This class is intended for experienced musical theatre students who want to work on vocal repertoire in a master class setting. Throughout the semester students will learn how to utilize acting techniques in order to improve their performances when singing. Students will prepare several pieces for performance that can be used in future auditions.
Cost is $440/child.
Wednesdays, 4:30-5:30pm

Open to students ages 10+. TAP teachers will be available to privately coach students for their upcoming auditions including school shows, scholarship applications, college auditions, and other performing opportunities. Students can register for a single lesson or multiple lessons, depending on need/purpose. Email TAP (theatreacademyproductions@gmail.com) to inquire about open dates and available teachers.
Cost is $50/hr.
Fridays, 1-3pm.
Open to students ages 9-16. Over the course of the semester, the actors will audition and rehearse the one-act play, The Velveteen Rabbit, based on the beloved children’s book about love and friendship. The play will be performed at the studio for families on November 2. Over the course of the semester, students will work on acting technique throughout the rehearsal process, focusing on character work and partner engagement.
Cost is $275/child.
Fridays, 3-4pm
Open to students ages 9-17. Students will learn the fundamentals of technical theatre in this overview to costumes, props, sound, makeup, and set design. Through hands-on activities, students will gain practical technical theatre knowledge to introduce them to the many facets of “tech!”
