Fridays, 6:30-7:30pm.
In our semester-long Elementary Grades Acting Class, children in grades 3-5 will explore elements of performance through acting games and activities that will develop their self-confidence, comfort level speaking in front of others, problem solving skills, ability to work well with others, creativity, and so much more! This is an ideal “intro to acting” for elementary children with little or no experience. This semester will emphasize creative drama. The class culminates in a showcase for families at the studio on the final day of class.
Cost is $420/child.
Tuesdays, 6:30-8pm.
In this performance class, the students will audition, rehearse, and perform whimsical stories of animals from around the world through creative storytelling and pantomime. From auditions to rehearsals, students will learn and develop skills that are important for acting in plays, and will be encouraged to challenge themselves outside their comfort zones as they explore acting skills through performance.
Cost is $500/child.
Wednesdays, 4:45 - 6pm.
Our semester-long Series Musical Theatre classes are aimed at developing children’s musical theatre skills, specifically singing and dancing. Series I-A is for young students with little or no musical theatre experience. Over the course of the semester, the children will learn musical theatre music and vocal technique and choreography/dance skills from a professional choreographer and vocal coach. This is a quick-paced class that is ideal for younger children who have a love of musical theatre and desire to foster that to develop their own skills! No previous experience necessary.
Cost is $460/child.
Wednesdays, 6-7pm.
Taught by Broadway dancer and professional choreographer, Ms. Kat Mowat Murphy, Jazz Dance for Actors 1 aims at introducing young students to jazz dance skills that will benefit musical theatre performers through a structured dance class.

Fridays, 5:30-6:30pm.
In our semester-long Primary Grades Acting Class, children will explore elements of performance through acting games and activities that will develop their self-confidence, comfort level speaking in front of others, problem solving skills, ability to work well with others, creativity, and so much more! This is an ideal “intro to acting” class for our youngest performers. The class culminates in a showcase for families at the studio on the final day of class.

Mondays, 4:30-5:30pm.
The “Blue Team” improvisation team focuses on developing foundational improv skills, with particular focus on partner scene work and character development through short form improv games. The team works on skill-development through weekly practices that build toward improv shows, open to all TAP friends and families, held multiple times throughout the semester at the studio. We have two teams, the Blue (focused on Short Form Improv) and the Gold (focused on Sketch Comedy). Students do NOT need to audition to be on the Blue Team.
Cost is $560/child.
Thursdays, 6:30-8pm.
Over the course of the semester, the actors will audition and rehearse the one-act play, THE FAIRY TALE NETWORK, that will be performed at the studio for families in May. When not rehearsing, actors will work on acting skills through games and exercises, or help create the technical elements of the show. In The Fairy Tale Network, the three blind mice are creative consultants for a television studio. Their network ratings are low, so they need to pitch new show ideas to their chief, the Cat. Through clever twists and the help of beloved characters including Goldilocks and Little Red, they create tv segments to wow their viewers and improve their ratings. The show is witty and engaging, with characters that provide creative challenges to take on!
Cost is $500/child.
Wednesdays, 7-8pm.
Taught by Broadway dancer and professional choreographer, Ms. Kat Mowat Murphy, Jazz Dance for Actors 2 will develop the individual dancer’s skills and abilities through structured jazz dance classes that include time learning musical theatre dance choreography.
Cost is $460/child.
Wednesdays, 5:30-7:30pm.
The “Gold Team” improvisation team focuses on story development in improv and comedy, while honing their team work skills. They learn sketch comedy skills in addition to short and long form. Previous experience in improvisation and/or comedy is necessary, and an audition is required to be considered for the team. This is an ideal “intro to acting” for elementary children with little or no experience. This semester will emphasize creative drama, as students work to create and develop characters and work on storytelling skills. The class culminates in a showcase for families at the studio on the final day of class, April 19th during class time.
Cost is $150/child.
