TAP's Fall Semester will open the week of August 24 and end the week of December 7.
There are no classes Labor Day, or November 25 - 27 for the Thanksgiving holiday.
Refunds will be given up to 1 month before the start of class. There will be a 20% cancellation fee on all refunds.
Wednesdays, 4:30 - 5:30pm.
Open to students ages 5-8 .In this new acting class for our youngest students, children will learn the foundational skills for performing onstage through creative play that culminates in scene work! The students will engage in imaginative exploration, partner activities, storytelling and story building, puppetry, and much more.
Cost is $480/child.
Mondays, 4:45 - 5:45pm.
Open to students in grades 3-6. Our semester-long Series Musical Theatre classes are aimed at developing children’s musical theatre skills, specifically singing and dancing. Series 1-A is for young students with some or no musical theatre experience. Over the course of the semester, the children will learn musical theatre music and vocal technique and choreography/dance skills from a professional choreographer and vocal coach. This is a quick-paced class that is ideal for younger children who have a love of musical theatre and a desire to foster that to develop their own skills! No previous experience necessary. Children typically take several semesters of 1-A before being moved up to 1-B by their teachers.
Cost is $500/child.
Mondays, 5:45-7pm.
Open to students in grades 4-7. Our semester-long Series Musical Theatre classes are aimed at developing children’s musical theatre skills, specifically singing and dancing. Series 1-B is our advanced-beginner musical theatre class for young children who have demonstrated a mastery of the skills learned in Series 1-A and are ready to move to a new level. To be in this class, the child must be approved by our staff. Over the course of the semester, the Series 1-B children will invest time and practice learning vocal technique for the stage, and musical theatre choreography and dance skills. This intensive is for children who are passionate about developing their musical theatre skills by challenging themselves as performers. Fridays, 6:30-7:30pm.
Open to students ages 9-13. Improv Foundations will introduce students to basic improv skills, with particular focus on partner scene work and character development through short form improv games. This is the perfect class for those who love improvisation, who like to make people laugh, and who desire to develop their comedy skills. No prior experience is necessary for Improv Foundations. Students who demonstrate a mastery of the skills learned in Improv Foundations may be asked to join TAP’s Improv Teams in future semesters.
Cost is $500/child.

Open to students ages 11-18. The Intermediate Improv Team will focus on story development in improv and comedy, while honing team work, collaborative, and characterization skills. This Improv Team will learn sketch comedy skills in addition to short and long form. In order to be eligible for this TAP Improv team, students will need to attend auditions on November 22 from 10am-12pm. In this class, students will have the rare opportunity to work hand-in-hand with a playwright to create a character and story that is completely original, and based on the students’ personalities, experiences, and skill levels. Ms. Kat will direct, and the collaboration will culminate in the creation of an original one-act play. The one-act play will have a new scene written and rehearsed each week. These individual scenes will be added together progressively to create a 15-minute one-act play that will be performed for families and friends on the final day of class, December 8.

Open to adults ages 18-100! Taught by Broadway performer, Ms. Kat Murphy, this 8-week class is for every adult who has always wanted to learn musical theatre dance! For new dancers, experienced dancers, and former dancers who want to have fun, break a sweat, and escape for an hour each week. We can’t wait to dance with you!
Cost is $200/8-week session.

Ideal for new and experienced actors alike, the semester-long class includes an in-depth look at various elements of performance and allows students to experience being onstage. The class culminates in a showcase for families on the final day of the class, December 8.

Open to students ages 7+. Our TAP Piano and Voice program, led by Mr. John Tyson, focuses on the development of musicality and technique through the use of the renowned Suzuki method. Students learn skills that are applicable to all forms of voice from choral to musical theatre and more.

This improv class will help students build confidence, creative thinking, communication skills, and practice teamwork through formal improvisation games and activities. Students will practice quick thinking, storytelling, listening skills, and self-expression in a positive, encouraging environment designed for all personalities and experience levels.
